3. FROM "INDIVIDUALS IN TEAMS" TO "NETWORK OF TEAMS"

 

Unlike hierarchically static organizations, team networks are able to adapt to the changing environment. Traditionally, HR management starts from the individual, from recruitment and selection to performance measurement. This focus is slowly changing, from individuals to teams, with their own and divergent individual dynamics, separately. The improvement will focus on how the team relates to its projects and tasks and how to find ways to improve and adapt. Today, high-performance organizations operate as networks of specialized teams, having in common the culture, information systems and mobility. Many organizations are already completely redesigning their model (e.g. in the financial sector). As networks and ecosystems replace traditional hierarchies, the question "Who do you work for?" will increasingly be replaced by "Who do you work with?".
