EXAMPLE 2.
"MADE-UP" PHARMACEUTICALS
Situation:
-
"Made-Up" Pharmaceuticals has recently expanded its business portfolio and is starting to explore two new business areas, as well as its international business;
-
For this purpose, 150 new commercials were hired, for Europe, South America and the Middle East.
Identified needs:
-
It will be necessary for the commercials to obtain specific technical training of the new products and services;
-
It will be necessary for commercials to be able to combine the company's philosophy, culture, and values with the social, cultural and economic realities of the destination market;
-
It will be necessary to integrate the new employees;
-
It will be necessary to assure that these employees, who will be the face of the brand in new markets, have the ability to solve problems, manage stress, manage goals and, taking into account that they may be far from the company's decision centers, identify themselves indelibly with the company they represent.
Found solution (hard and soft skills):
Instead of "closing" the new employees in a training room, HR managers have moved their trainers to provide technical product training, in a new environment for all. The fact that they are in an unknown place promotes group union.
In the same period, the training activities interspersed with preventive reinforcement team building actions, combining the development of some soft skills with technical training. These activities happen in a natural way, in a different environment for all, integrated into other events. In this way, the training happens practically without the participants taking account, interspersed with tourist activities.
